Holden Marine Towing was founded in 2014 by Edward "Ed" Holden, who has been working on tugs for 40+ years. Edward's younger brother, Joseph "Joey" Holden, later joined him. The Holdens have a long history within the marine industry, as their father also operated tugs for a living. Edward and Joseph Holden have operated tugs for a combined 70 years working for a number of companies in various conditions, positions, and vessels along the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. Their combined experience gives them the necessary expertise to succeed in whatever is given to them.
